Dublin Region SIPTU members, community workers & activists. National Protest: Dublin Community Sector Assembly - Friday 6th November, 1.30pm, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Sean Mc Dermot St, Dublin 1. Communities Against CutsGet Up, Stand Up for a better, fairer way Workers and communities are being attacked by Government proposals to cut wages and services. We have a short time before the next budget to show that ordinary people are not going to accept all the pain for the mistakes of bankers and property developers. A series of national demonstrations are planned for Friday 6th November, uniting the community, private and public sectors in solidarity. Protests will be held in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Sligo, Tullamore, and Dundalk; further details are available here: www.getupstandup.ie. We are calling on all community workers, activists and projects to join us on the day to deliver a clear message to Government.
