The Office for Integration in Dublin City council were very pleased to receive the news of approved funding to the value of €250,000 for the implementation of measures supporting integration within our city.
A number of the key projects are already in place while more are being developed and expanded. The OFI will soon announce a call for proposals from projects with a specific Integration and intercultural remit within the Dublin City Council area.
The role of integration and the key work we do in promoting a diverse, vibrant and intercultural city for all our citizens, that says no to discrimination and racism is extremely important and especially significant at the present time. We acknowledge and appreciate the support and commitment the Minister for Integration, John Curran has given to this key area.

The Minister for Integration, Mr. John Curran TD, today announced that he had approved funding of €250,000 for Dublin City Council to implement measures to promote the integration of immigrants in Irish life.
Speaking about the funding allocation the Minister said "I am pleased to say that Dublin City Council has been proactive in its response to integration and has put in place innovative measures to recognize the significant change in Dublin life. The establishment of a dedicated Office for Integration, the Declaration on Integration by leaders of state and city organizations establishing a pact on integration at city level not to mention the Council's ongoing commitment to initiating and facilitating dialogue and co-operation at city and local level with migrant networks and NGOs clearly demonstrates the Dublin City Councils commitment to face the challenge the of integration and get it right."
