Training Workshops in Issues of Sexual Violence Spring 2010

Venue: the Rape Crisis Centre, 70 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2
9.30 am to 4.30 pm.


Ø A one day workshop on Working with Issues of Child Sexual Abuse on Thursday 21st Jan 2010. This workshop is for staff and volunteers who want to increase their understanding of the dynamics and impact of child sexual abuse, and to enhance their capacity to deal with this issue.

Ø A one day course Preventing and Dealing with Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace for Managers, Human Resources Personnel, Equality Officers, Members of Boards of Management. This course would be helpful also to those in a counselling role, but please note the focus is on issues for the Manager rather than on counselling issues. This course will be held on Wednesday 3rd Feb 2010.

Ø A four day course Sexual Abuse: the Counselling Process from Monday 22nd February to Thursday 25th February 2010. This course is for psychotherapists and counsellors and those in a counselling role, and focuses on the therapeutic process with adolescent and adult clients.
